Complex Referential Integrity
Migrating CRM data at scale is rarely just a database export-and-import. Quivio needed a multi-tenant migration platform capable of securely moving complex transactional, customer, and catalog data from MySQL to PostgreSQL for each tenant independently while preserving referential integrity across related records.
Resumability and Observability
The migration also had to be fully restartable and observable. If a migration failed midway, it needed to resume from the last successful checkpoint instead of restarting from scratch, while providing engineers with complete real-time visibility into every migration run.
Orchestrated Dependency-Aware Migration
Toadsters designed a tenant-isolated migration architecture orchestrated through Celery task chains and parallel workers, ensuring dependent CRM entities were migrated in the correct sequence while preserving data relationships across customer, transaction, and catalog records.
Enterprise ETL/ELT Patterns
ETL and ELT workflows were modeled after Informatica BDM concepts, incorporating dependency-driven execution, automated validation, reconciliation, and idempotent processing between MySQL and PostgreSQL. Time-windowed, paginated migration pipelines efficiently handled large historical datasets without affecting production performance.
